So, lets just go ahead & cut to the chase! I Definitely Gotta show Drake love on this unexpected-mixtape, even though it was a damn Leak. Some may argue that it was a #PR Leak for press & build-up, while others would disagree firmly; by saying “Nah, that was a damn PA Leak (Punk Ass Leak) from an insider -which is usually the case, but either way, “I fuxxxx wit it” lol, but I really do…This Mixtape goes pretty damn-hard!
“Drake, If You’re Reading This -It’s GR8” But seriously, we Thank you for this one Drizzy. There’s No doubt that Your body of work is not only excellent, but Appreciated.
“And If Ya Don’t Know, Now Ya Know” Especially, to any & all my first time viewers or hip hop fans out there. DRAKE was born as “Aubrey Drake Graham” – just in case anyone gets confused when I “flip the switch” back & forth on his name.

Okay, So Back To The Topic Of Discussion! DRAKE & DARK LANE DEMO TAPES
THE JESTIFICATED REVIEW By: @J2Pricey
MIXTAPE vs ALBUM (KNOW THE DIFFERENCE)
Despite a few tracks being leaked early…I definitely feel like it’s Still a #HOMERUN and I know “it’s not only me” but thousands or millions of Drizzy-Drake fans from-across-the-globe, had been patiently waiting like back in the days of “50 Cent & Eminem” Bangers.
But, back to the topic…I mean yes, we the fans who are friends, family, lovers, brothers, mothers, cousins, and etc…we had no doubt been amped up for the mixtape to drop, but I think no one was expecting it so we kinda forgot and felt like ‘Ehhh, I prob won’t hear another Drake Album or single until next year (Post-Covid19) and all that distraction-shit.
DRAKE QUENCHES THIRSTY FANS WITH MUSIC DURING QUARANTINE:
Honestly, I was eager to not only hear from Drake, but I was there front & Center for all the damn IG LIVE battles with the beat Producers…I think I felt like “Boi1Da” was as close as the world would get to previewing anything else new by Drake -at least for this year. Yet, I was so happy to be wrong. I love it when an Artist can prove my doubt(s), it shows a whole nother level and layer. It also displays their confidence. creativity along with passion & how they stand on their craft and when it’s time to Battle, They come correct.
“BUCKLES ON THE JACKET ITS ALYX SHYT”
(IT’S A LEAK) That is how I heard the verse initially, but that’s not it lol. -Rap Genius
I mean, I hate to say I was geeked-up when all 3 tracks were leaked on Soundcloud
But, I was like Yesssirrr, then went Str8 to Cloud to hear, also finally created an account.
“When To Say When”
“W A R” –is prob my all-time favorite on this mixtape; But lyrically I think his best, yet.
THE PROGRESSION & ANALYSIS OF DRAKES FLOW-GAME & CANADIAN ACCENT
I was like Ohhhh, snap…Drakes Pen & Lyrical game just got cold as a mothafuck*h! Also, can we talk about the revival of the Canadian Accent, reminiscent of a Jamaican vibe “Shout out to Popcaan” and that UK accent style of Giggs and BAKA. So in my eyes, as any lyricist, writer, rapper, DJ, producer, engineer, and overall Artist, you should always see some kind of switch-up in their style over a good decade and Drake has managed to do just that (while maintaining true to himself, family, friends & the world.)
James Prince Sr. & Jas
JAS | JPRINCE SR.| JPrince JR.
JPRINCE Jr. -Drippin in MoBTies Merch!
“PRINCE, I CARRY THAT LAST NAME, THAT SHIT STAYS ON ME LIKE BRAND NAMES
To sum it up, “Jas Prince (son of Rap-A-Lot Records: James Prince Sr.) along with Jas older brother (JPrince Jr.) Lets be honest, The entire Prince Family is a well respected, influential, household name and not just in my city (Houston) but also across the globe.
“JAS-JUST LINED-UP BRAND NEW HAND-TINGS, AND NICE GUY ON-A-MAD-TING “
Jas Prince is the one who is responsible & credited for discovering Drake.
Which we could get even deeper into, but I will save that for the next posts and let them tell it. Since, I have reached out and spoken to JPrince Jr. on Choppin-It-Up in a casual interview/discussion for Jestificated and he agreed. So that will be a good one.
Topic of discussion will be primarily all about his MOBTIES, MUSIC & MERCH, I would also love to incorporate some of Juniors hobbies like cooking with his personal celebrity Chef Dani Hollywood “Mobties Meals” edition, but we will see.
Anyhow, that is a brief synopsis on the Drake & Prince affiliation. Once JPrince and I get a moment, we will definitely be keeping you all woke and hip to the positive movement that he has founded MOBTIES, so you already know that will be epic & informative article- worldwide status.
WHEN YOU HEAR ‘DRAKE REPPIN: H-TOWN, MOBTIES & THE “PRINCE” FAMILY:
This is nothing new if you followChampagnePapi on or off the gram, but we all know he’s credited Houston and called it his home or at least second home from Canada….but let’s be honest, bro got real-ties in my city and I don’t mean bow-ties. I’m talking bout that “MOBTIES” in JPrince Jr.’s (voice)“That-Mobties-Drip” or “City -2- City, State -2- State” Mobties is more than just an off the cuff word that sounds mafioso-related. If you really want to know, the true meaning and what Mobties stands for and how it can relate to anyone, no matter where you grew up, square, street, country, or wealthy.
JAS | JPRINCE SR.| JPrince JR.
LET US NOT FORGET DRAKES CROSSOVER ABILITIES:
Drake has also managed to not only carve out a niche area in the hip-hop game, but he’s a dynamic crossover-artist. He’s every Manager, Label, A&R, and Producers Dream, because he can effortlessly transition into a complete R&B track, while singing & rapping in the same song, and he does it with such ease, so it seems. But, yea damn near good-ass-vocal-range…I mean I saw the shyt-legit in person. I will say there are very few successful Rap Artists that have been able to tap into the Drake Zone of Rapping & Singing on the same track…ZRo (from Mo-City/My City) actually is one of the first to really do it well, My bad…but it’s def Drizzy style ya know – he found his voice and it works for him- so props.
STARTED FROM THE BOTTOM
If I had to guess (and I’m sure I can find the write-up on Jas Prince founding Drake, I think somewhere in Forbes) but don’t quote me. Anyways, what I’m saying is that I truly believe Jas Prince and Wayne saw a relatable factor in Drake along with his ability to rap & sing with the times, while also being hella-creative with whatever the bro touches. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying Drake is the best ever, but he sure is the best to do it right now & in this era. I realize that I may come off in this post as partially a-bit-biased -which is fair and accurate, but then again, I only write on my thoughts for the Jestificated followers, Im from the H, down with Mobties & who doesn’t Respect Drake??
“MY” DARK LANE DEMO TRACKS: LISTED BY TOP RANK & REVIEW. (opinions are my own)

Song Title: CHICAGO FREESTYLE (FEAT GIVEON)
So, yall already know, since I’m from Texas #Htown-Pretty much love anything with some form of Screw to it, if it’s done right…respectfully #RIP DJSCREW.
Now to be specific…any killer slow jam with great vocals, such as the R&B Artist ” Giveon” on the track, it’s definitely gonna bump in the H and beyond. But seriously-the whole song is on 10 with him on it & Drakes (Eminem lyric-sample) he did an epic job on that 1.
“But I do Know One Thing Tho,
Women They Come They Go,
Saturday Thru Sunday Monday,
Monday Thru Sunday -Yoooo….
Maybe I’ll Love you One Day,
Maybe We’ll Some Day Grow,
Till Then I’ll Sit My Drunk Ass On That Runway,
On This One Way….”

YEA, I KILLED THE OPP, AINT CATCHIN NO KARMA”
Song Title: WHEN TO SAY WHEN
NEED I REALLY SAY MORE? This 1 Brought BACK “SONG CRY by JAY Z” for me, and it hits hard AF with the SCREWED UP VERSION and 808’s BANGIN.
“Register The Business In My Brothas Name,
$3500 That Should Cova Thangs.”
“Certified Lova-Man, Trappin-Out-The-MotherLand.
I Always Move Right, So My Watch Is On The Otha-HAND.”
*THIS NEXT PART- THO, I SAID -SHITZ-OVA! HE KILLED THE FLOW #RIP
“I DECIDE WHAT TO SEE NEXT,
LIKE ITS ON-DEMAND,
I DECIDE WHAT TO BE NEXT,
LIKE IM SWITCHIN’ PLANS.
“I’M-A-TELL YOU WHAT YOU FEEL NEXT,
LIKE THE WEATHA-MAN,
I WILL SPLIT HEADS & BREAK NECKS
FOR MY LIL MAN,
“6-GOD PRAYIN’ HANDS LIKE I’M A RELIGIOUS-MAN,
BUT IM JUST A SICKA-MAN, WICKED MAN,
“WE CAN ARGUE BACK AND FORTH, BUT WHOS THE RICHER MAN??
ISNT THAT WHAT MATTERS IN THIS WORLD THAT WE LIVIN IN??
BANK KNOWS DIVIDENDS,

BY JUST GIVIN IN??
HOW YOU GON TREAT THIS SHIT?
LIKE YOU GET TO LIVE AGAIN??”
“HOW YOU GETTIN HYPE OFF-ONE- HIT???
DO THAT SHIT AGAIN!!!”
Song Title: LANDED
Chorus Kills it every time, and that damn #CardoBeat goes so hard if you really sit and listen to the rhythm of it and the 808s..kicking ass like Jackie Chan! Okay, favorite part.
“Yea And If I gotta Land It Ima Stick it,
Ayyye, Baby Let It Go & You Gone Miss It!
Wrote This With The Cartier Pen, Do I Sound Different?
Always Say I Changed, I’m Just Now Switchin’
“Yea Patek Doin Backflips Showin Off”
“Overseas AND Back I Was Round-Trippen”
“All My Niggas Wit Me On Those Outta-Town Missions….
Wasnt Hearing Me Before, But Okay – Now Listen.
“Pushin 5 Cadillacs Like A Politician,
I Be In & Out Arenas Like I’m Scottie Pippen.”
Song Title: DEEP POCKETS
The Was A Great First Track (in my opinion) to come in on, for me…I’m not sure why or the vibe/beat Im actually hearing but it slightly sounds like a SCREW joint that has been overexaggerated in the background on repeat, giving off those 90/2K Vibes of back when wearing Huge ass Jeans was the thing for most brothas or dudes to do. So, yea, after I hit replay, minus -purposely-not-seeking-the -Lyrics. So don’t quote me…
I just ran it back & now I’m hearing what the main hook says “BROOKLYN, BROOKLYN, BROOKLYN” but the song still reminds some of my older brothers homies from back in the day. Just #Nostalgic type shyt, ya know?!
I guess the beat and Drakes Lyrics just got me on this one- FIRE. He brought not only the “sound, sound sound”—–but I feel this track, it just hits different and despite the repetitive chorus…okay it’s not SCREW, but reminiscent of. Now, let’s chop up how Drake graced the hook holding that note so damn well…
DRESSED IN FATIGUES,
I REP THE EAST
WITH MY TRUSTEES…”
“And WE ROLLINNNN,
AND WE ROLLINNNN,
DEEP POCKETS, ON A NIGGA,
I CANT FIND MY PHONE IN…
BUT WE ROLLINNNNN”-UH HUH’
Song Title: DESIRES ( Feat. FUTURE)
Best Verse(s): Bias as hell on this one, lol for reason.
Not to mention the fact it’s played on the radio out here, but the fact that Drake busted out with Katy, Texas #SoDed, but I’ll leave it at that.
Alone The Chorus/Hook Issa Whole Vibe and Then Future does his thang.
“I Should Of Put You Somewhere,
Where No One Could Find You,
Mansion Out In The Sticks,
With Nothin Around Ya,
You Know A Different Environment.
Cause U got Desires,
I know, I know, I know…
U Got Desires….”
Song Title: D4L (FUTURE, DRAKE & YOUNG THUG)
At First, I was like Ehhh, but Then Features Made me Relisten to the track, and beat hits my ear first hard af, then the lyrics, chorus etc…but I like this song…catchy parts, clever parts, everyone does their parts-if I can be real on how I feel. SHOUT-OUT TO (808 SOUTHSIDE MAFIA BOSS KILLIN THE BEAT)…This Jams hella-hard after my triple playback.
*THE FOLLOWING D4L LYRICS Did Require The Help By My Friends @RAPGENIUS….lol
“FBG, YSL, KNOW JUST WHATS BRACKIN,
-YEAH, YEAH YEAH-
TOLD MY STORY,
GOTTA CLEAR IT BY YOUR DADDY,
-YEAHHH – YEAH- YEAH-
FBG, OVO, WHATS HANNENIN?
Richard Mille, All Year, Whats Hannenin?
D4L , STUNNA MAN,
Man WHATS HANNENIN?-
Song Title: FROM FLORIDA WITH LOVE
Album Track: #12
PLUGGGG! lol -PLIES
Love this 1 and Drakes ability to dominate songs, by way of his great storytelling skills. it’s one where I can literally visualize some punks with guns tryna rob Drizzy on the tour bus for his chain with Wayne etc. Yea -I mean it’s a real ass track.
WRITING THIS FROM FLORIDA WITH LOVE
WHEN I LINK WITH MEXICO
I KNOW I FOUND A PLUG.
REST IN PEACE TO STATIC,
KNOWIN SHAWTY WANNA THUG…
BOTTLES IN THE CLUB – AYYE.
KNOW I LOVE TO TOUCH, AYYE
WEEZY PLAYED THAT SHIT
FOR ME AND KOBE ON THE BUS.
WENT AND BOUGHT A CHAIN FOR ME,
I HAD TO GIVE IT UP>…..
NIGGAS HAD THEY PISTOLS LOADED,
POINTED AT MY TRUCKS. AYYYE
AND YOU KNOW THAT LESSON STUCK.
FROM THAT DAY,
I NEVA TOUCHED THE ROAD WITHOUT A
Song Title: TOOSIE SLIDE
TikTok Type Status: A Global Drizzy Dance Hit & #1 Banger – “I can dance like Michael Jackson, I can give you Thug Passion….”
“Black Leather Gloves, No Sequins, Buckles on The Jacket it’s a Leak Shit,
Nike Crossbody….” you know the rest!
Song Title: LOSSES
“HI INSTAGRAM, A SONG I BEEN WRITING ON FOR A FEW MONTHS, I DUNNO, I STARTED WRITING IT ABOUT FAMILY…JUST CAME UP NOW, SO ANYBODY FEEL ANYWAY ABOUT IT, I DONT GIVE A FUCK” -Dennis G
“I DO IT FOR THE GRAHAMS, NOT THE GRAM!” – DRAKE on #THATPART
LOSSES- IS ACTUALLY LACED WITH STR8 -COLD FACTS, FAMILY AND FRIENDS
The whole first intro of Dennis Graham (Drakes Dad) speaking on how he made this song and had been writing it for a couple of months “It’s about Family, and well I don’t give a fuck what ppl think of it.” That shit was too real, I love Drakes Dad tho – he def be pimpin and doing his thing. The song is pretty good, and Drake speaks on some real-life experiences with his family, encounters, and troubles along the way. The track was really sentimental and definitely iconic in the sense that he did a collabo with his dad, who also appears to enjoy songwriting, that alone is pretty dope – especially coming from one writer like me… to another. Do ya thang Pops! This is a Legacy-Track.
Song Title:PAIN 1993 ( FEAT PLAYBOI CARTI)
“IF SHE BRINGIN 4 FRIENDS,
I KNOW I HIT ATLEAST 1,
GOT EM ALL TANNIN’ BY THE POOL
AND THEY GREASED-UP,
POLICE IN MY CITY,
MAN I KEEP THEY POCKETS GREASED-UP”
Least Favorite Part:
Yikes, even though I love all my Artists, for me this one was a no once Playboi Carti jumped on the track (Drake did his thing tho). I get it, everyone’s got a different style and Playboi got some hits & hella-talent…he’s just in a different lane and I admire his craft. However, I really felt like the song was lacking when it came to Carti’s bars and the high-pitch voice killed it for me, causing me to hit next. -It’s still a vibe tho & No Cap #CartiFans
Song Title: NOT YOU TOO (Feat CHRIS BROWN)
“YOU THE REAL MVP…HOUSTON WE GOTTA PROBLEM”
LEAST FAVORITE PART:
Probably just the overall slow vibe of the song, I think I skipped it so many times on the first few days, it just didn’t hit like a traditional style Breezy on the track and Drake maybe hit the best bars at the very end (as noted above)….I actually don’t even recall hearing Chris Brown’s part, no lie. I’m just like what happened Breezy, you gotta come stronger than that, I know you can bro! But it still jams. I get the vibe is not supposed to be like a bouncy beat, I just wasn’t a fan on this particular collabo and I definitely feel like both Drake and Chris gotta do another one, but make it really count, ya know kinda like the last one “NO GUIDANCE” THAT SHYT STILL JAMS AND HITS TOP 10 on THE PLAYLIST ….I hope to see more of the NO GUIDANCE Bangers in the future, but I appreciate the collabo and it took effort so hey, ain’t no losers on this mixtape.
Song Title: TIME FLIES
Album Track: #7
“You believe in Angles, More than Angels” –iconic
Least Favorite Part:
IDK, I don’t dislike the song I think I just feel like it’s simply repetitive on the “IM OUTSIDE IN A AMG” it just doesn’t grab me personally, because once we start talking about flashy shit like AMG cars (which I love) it gets kinda old like “traditional rap songs that just talk about flashy diamonds, cars & making it rain” especially while we all in this Corona shut, (I get the song came before and if it came after I get it too) but it simply just doesn’t hit for me, as stated with the last few above….but the beats kool, simple and singing style rapping Drake. I think the hook/chorus sticks, it’s catchy – I think this song was his promo video clip prior to releasing this mixtape last week, it was actually lit I prefer this song with the bad-ass video visuals used “I guess I’m just not passionate about it like I’ve skipped it every time, except for this review.
THE MIXTAPE WRAP-UP
AT THE END OF THE DAY, ALBUM IS JESTIFICATED!
EVEN IF MY OPINION MATTERED OR NOT….BUT IF MY OPINION EVER WAS THE DECIDING FACTOR,THEN YOU SHOULD CLEARLY TAKE IT HOW YOU SEE IT
IF #12 of #14 TRACKS ARE JUMPIN, THEN DRIZZY OBVIOUSLY DID MORE THAN HIS JOB, WE ALL KNOW A FEW FOLKS OUT NOW (PAST/PRESENT) AS WE SPEAK, BIG NAMES & SMALL- AND THAT 10 TRACK OR 20 TRACK ALBUM ONLY REALLY GOT BOUT ” 2 to 3″ of THEM JOINtz THAT YOU WOULD ACTUALLY BUMP.
MORAL OF THE STORY IS….
NEVER FORGET THE GREATNESS THAT DRAKE HAS CREATED, CRAFTED &
CARVED OUT OF HIS LIFE. FROM THE PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE PROJECTS.
DRAKES OVERALL CONSISTANCY, CHARACTER & THE QUALITY CONTENT THAT HE PREPARES & PUTS OUT FOR US TO HERE IS LIKE NO OTHER, IT’S UNMATCHED.
AND, NO- WE ALL CAN’T NOR SHOULD WE TRY TO “BE LIKE DRAKE”,
I’M DEFINITLEY NOT HINTING AT THAT….PLEASE UNDERSTAND THE POINT, WHICH IS “EVERYONE NEEDS TO FIND THEIR NICHE & TAP INTO IT WITH PRIDE, EXCELLENCE & PASSiON. SIMILAR TO KOBE AND THE “MAMBA MENTALITY” ADMIRED BY THE WORLD FOR HIS RELENTLESS HOOP GAME AND DISCIPLINE.
I THINK IM JUST TRYING TO SAY, BEFORE YOU HATE ON SOMEONE LIKE A DRAKE OR EASILY CRITIZE AND TAKE HIM FOR GRANTED, STOP AND THINK IF YOU HAVE DONE NEARLY 1/2 OF WHAT HE HAS ACCOMPLISHED AND STRIVED FOR? REGARDLESS OF YOUR UPBRINING OR ETC. NO EXCUSES, THOSE GET OLD.
DO MORE TAKING NOTES, MORE LISTENING, LESS RUNNNIG YOUR MOUTH, TAKE A MOMENT TO LEARN OR READ SOMETHING NEW. OR AS RICK ROSS CALLS IT “STUDYING…VS HATING.” -THAT WILL BE ANOTHER RECAP, TOPIC I LOVE ROZAY.
WE HAVE ENOUGH HATE & DEMONS TO BATTLE IN THIS WORLD AS IT IS, SO LETS JUST TRY TO LIFT ONE ANOTHER UP VS QUICKLY TEARING SOMEONE DOWN.
SO YEA, WE ONLY NEED ONE DRAKE…SIMILAR TO THAT NAS SONG ” I ONLY NEED ONE MIC”, -BUT ITS IMPORTANT TO KNOW THAT THERE IS ALWAYS ROOM AT THE TABLE FOR NEW, FRESH, CREATIVE AND UNIQUE ARTIST WITH TALENT, BUT ITS ALWAYS BETTER TO SET YOURSELF APART FROM THE “OTHER GUY/GAL” BY SIMPLY, STEPPING OUT OF THE “BASIC ASS BOX”, IF YOU FEEL WHAT IM SAYIN.
LOOK AT THE GREAT LEGENDS OR GOATS THAT CAME ‘BEFORE DRAKE, IN THE RAP GAME. SUCH AS: TUPAC, JAY Z, NAS, BIGGIE, WU TANG , JADAKISS, DR. DRE, EMINEM & THE LIST GOES ON, BUT YOU GET MY POINT, I HOPE. SO -ANYWAYS,
“JUST BE YOU & ALWAYS STAY TRUE”
Reminder:“Opinions Are My Own”
While, I’m simply tryna just keep it 100 with yall, so in doing so…I have to relay my first, second, and third reactions…post-hearing the track. This is how I remain consistent and honest to yall (new or old) followers or not. The main goal is to celebrate the Mixtape release and keep the positive vibes on what we love, while also being honest on what was “meh or not the Bizness”. As many of you know by now, I’ve said it again and again that from the jump, I’ve always vowed to myself and followers that I am not into the #GossipBloggin or Shaderoom/ Worldstar type stuff “respectfully they do their thing and are #1 blogs for that reason. However, I keep my blog strictly about the Hip-Hop/TRAP & Rap Music / Culture & Music Reviews or Related events. I don’t do just anything for the simple fact of gaining more clout or hits, so keep that in mind if you’re wondering.
On Side Note:
Of course, I do realize that no matter what Artist, Album, Mixtape or EP -not every song is going to be a hit or smash…trust me, I’m in the game myself. I give all my Artists peeps major props for creating and relaying their vision by talent. This is simply the Jestificated Review so drop a line and Stream or Download the Album if you haven’t, clearly, it’s worth it. Drake always comes with plenty of fire tracks and again this isn’t even a Studio Album so keep that in mind, I sure do! So DRIZZY, IF You’re Reading This, Then It’s Too Late..Nah it’s All Love in my blog – He knows the real deal right here.
THE MOBTIES TAKEOVER:
One thing I will leave you all with on this subject matter is that Drake clearly has a song called MobTies and you can kind of grasp a bit from there (give or take) yet it’s not to get misconstrued as in a negative manner or connotation. (continue reading below)
‘Spoken from the Founder himself James Jr, (seen above & below in the photos via IG)
Junior, quickly lets everyone know including on IG LIVE “What MobTies Represents” and What they stand for, in addition to what he stands on….needless to say, it’s definitely not about any type of Mob mentality that many may think, it’s about people doing positive things to empower one another, which is why Mobties is a worldwide movement and on the rise as we speak.
“It’s Up There & It’s Stuck There”
“WHAT’S UNDERSTOOD, DOESNT HAVE TO BE SAID…”
Now, from my knowledge via IG LIVE sessions on James Prince Jr’s Instagram Live Sessions. Correct me if I’m wrong, but my “TakeAway from many of Juniors #IGLive’s is as follows, but don’t quote me: MobTies is a movement, which was originated and organized by the founder himself Mr. James Prince Jr. (son of Legendary Rap-A-Lot Records CEO) James Prince Sr.
NOW, LETS TAKE IT BACK TO THE ORIGIN OF AUBREY
(Told Yall, This Write-Up Was No Joke…I Really Did This Justice, A Few Typos But Yea)
So, another thing I really admire about Drake as an Artist, *Sidenote: which is credited to the great Jas Prince for discovering him, along with the influence of other Artists such as Lil Wayne.
You gotta really give it to Jas, because Drake always shows love & respect back to the Prince Empire – since Day 1 in his verses and he still does so till today. You don’t find that kind of loyalty and bond between many Artist’s & Management “friends or not” many fall-out & fall-off.
The Shit Sometimes happens, but to understand who and how Aubrey Graham became DRAKE “The semi-awkward mixed-race Jewish & Black Kid from Canada” probably living a similar life as many middle-class suburban kids, but making a name for himself on the hit show Degrassi, as the guy in the wheelchair #SoHumble but #StillHungry & #StillWorking regardless of the role.
Also, who would have thought to really give him the chance, things like that rarely happen, but with persistence and networking you can make some shit pop off in general.
Sometimes I wonder, just how Drake prove himself and his worth- in a room full of goats like Lil Wayne and etc. If you really look back to see Drake’s “discography” timeline or simply follow his music, then you know what it is. It’s definitely more than a dream to get an opportunity to spit bars in front of your idols and music industry friends, but everyone in business knows….just because you are BFF’s or know someone, you still gotta prove your worth at the end of the day.
However, that is exactly what Aubrey Graham did….he never tried to claim a thug life, he never tried to rap hard AF like a Tupac, he rapped on some real asss shit (to some maybe it means he’s soft or not hardcore enough) but honestly that’s just hating because if you see the success he has proven, consistently time after time, then you know the Grammys, the Awards, The streams, the downloads and last the packed out concert Arenas & that’s for EVERY DAMN TOUR (From the States to Overseas) which, only shows Drakes amount of Talent, Discipline & his Progress on how hard he & his team works at his craft, all the way from (From Engineers, Producers, Cowriters to the Runners).
NOW LETS LOOK OVER DRAKES DIVERSE & CONSISTANT DISCOGRAPHY REVIEW
If you really analyze Drakes first album till this current mixtape (Mixtape: meaning this isn’t a fully orchestrated Studio album)
FYI: I hear that Drake is planning to drop another actual Studio Album during or before the end of this summer 2020….so lookout! Last thing I want to leave yall with is one of my favorite Drake verses/quotes – I think it applies to everything in life #KNOWYOURSELF.
“IF YOU’ AINT GOT IT, THEN YOU AINT GOT IT….THE THEORY IS BRILLIANT”
-Aubrey Drake Graham

DARK LANE DEMO TAPES MIXTAPE WRITE-UP BY APPLE MUSIC:
“When Drake released the dance routine ready Toosie Slide roughly a month ahead of his Dark Lane Demo Tapes, fans were near incredulous that he’d discovered yet another musical frontier in which to stake his claim. (Those who weren’t busy choreographing Tik Tok Videos to the song, anyway.) With the release of Dark Lane Demo Tapes, Drake delivers a handful of additional forays into the sound of right now. The project, per Drake’s own Instagram, features music compiled by OVO cohorts Oliver El-Khatib and Noel Cadastre, and comprises “some leaks and some joints from SoundCloud.com in addition to some new vibes.”
