Houston’s “CHARLO TWINS” Hit-up a Media Day, Workout & HOST a CHARITY TOY Drive with FLOYD “MONEY” MAYWEATHER –
Jermall and Jermell Charlo are already seeing’ Money before their huge title fights next weekend … ’cause Floyd Mayweather was a special guest at their open workouts in Houston, in addition to hosting a CHARITY/DONATION TOY DRIVE for Kids.
A Good Rumble, Great Cause which brought the City together for a Great Evening/Night of Fun in Houston, while also bringing many Celebrities out (although it was a low-key event not highly promoted) with little to no promoting except for word-of-mouth and a few days prior.
I was fortunate enough to be “in the house” that night, along with my friend Courtney, as seen in the photo below- photo courtesy of InDMix. Funny thing is, Courtney and I actually were at 1 of the Charlo Brothers TMT first fights held in Houston (set up like a Vegas) around 2-3 years ago. We were ring-side on behalf of our friend Kenny from Mayweather Promotions in Vegas aka “The Money Team” while, he also sent us some really nice TMT attire, as you see myself pictured below wearing & supporting.
I happen to have a couple of friends whom work for Floyd / Mayweather Promotions in Vegas, along with another friend who is 1 of Floyd’s several Bodyguard’s (Head of Security) on deck at all times, he goes by the name of Mike as seen below.
Great friend, well respected, known -and always looking out for Mayweather, his Fam & the entire #TMT Team for that mater, so He #StaysWoke.
The undefeated Charlo twins hosted the training sesh/toy drive in their hometown leading up to their big event in Brooklyn … and anyone who brought a gift got to check out their workout for free.
However, the guests weren’t the only people in the giving spirit … celeb jeweler Johnny Dang dropped by to hand-deliver a custom diamond grill for Jermall!!
Both Charlo Twins are fighting at The Barclays Center , this upcoming Saturday, Dec. 22 at 7 p.m. CT on “PBC Fight Night” on FOX.
Since they’re both fighting on the same card, how did they determine which fight would be the main event? Coin flip.
Jermall won — so his fight will get top billing when he defends his interim middleweight title against Willie Monroe Jr.
Jermell is defending his junior middleweight title against Tony Harrison.
Both attempting to keep their undefeated streaks alive.
Jermall is 27-0 and Jermell is 31-0.
Floyd’s got his own fight comin’ up … with his New Year’s Eve exhibition in Tokyo with
Tenshin Nasukawa right around the corner.
Props to the Boxer’s for spreading the holiday cheer to the Kids, while partying after some boxing-love in the ring for the city!! Although these epic battles will take place in less than ten days, the twins made their rounds through their hometown of Houston for a MEDIA Workout , Vegas-in-Houston + TOY drive.
